The Movie Critic

The Movie Critic will be Quentin Tarantino's 10th and (maybe) final film. It is slated to enter production in late 2023 and will likely be released at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. The film is based on a porno rag journalist Tarantino read growing up while he was working as a vending machine restocker. The film is set in 1977 Southern California, with a character arc similar to that of Robert De Niro’s as Travis Bickle in Martin Scorsese’s “Taxi Driver. "His reviews were a cross between early Howard Stern and what Travis Bickle might be if he were a film critic. Think about Travis’ diary entries".

The film critic may be Jim Sheldon.
