The New Beverly Cinema is a historic movie theater located in Los Angeles, California. Housed in a building which dates to the 1920s, it is one of the oldest revival houses in the region. A turbulent history and a legendary movie house, it is now owned and operated by Quentin Tarantino (read more). Only 35mm and 16mm is being screened and it features an ecclectic selection of movies each month, hand picked by the man. The "New Bev" has matinees, double features, classic exploitation titles, classics, films from Quentin's personal print collection and other goodies. Often you get introductions to movies, there are giveaways and - we can tell from own experience - going there is always an experience. You'll be among friends there. It's a movie church!
