A Civil War ex-Union officer turned bounty hunter played by Samuel L. Jackson who accompanies John Ruth, Daisy Domergue and Chris Mannix to Minnie's Haberdashery.

Name inspired by Charles Marquis Warren, producer of Western TV show The Virginian.
Partly inspired by ex-Civil War soldier/bounty hunter Col. Douglas Mortimer (played by Lee Van Cleef) in the spaghetti western film For A Few Dollars More.
