Macaroni Combat is a film genre. It describes war movies made in Italy or by Italians, mostly in the 60s, 70s and early 80s. One example is Inglorious Bastards by Enzo Castellari, which inspired Quentin Tarantino to call his WW2 movie Inglourious Basterds.
