Fredrick Zoller is a character in Inglourious Basterds. He is a German officer and war hero. Played by Daniel Brühl. He is known as the "German Seargent York". A reference to the 1941 Howard Hawks film about an American hillbilly World War I hero.
TRIVIA: Central to Inglourious Basterds is the fictional Nazi propaganda film Stolz der Nation, which stars Fredrick Zoller as himself.
