- The Nazis believe that Donowitz is an avenging golem (a mystical monster) created by a Jewish rabbi. He kills his victims with a baseball bat.
- TARANTINO TRAITS: The last name Donowitz is also shared by another character in the Tarantino-verse: Lee Donowitz who is featured in True Romance. In that film, Donowitz is a rich movie producer who has made several hit films including a Vietnam War picture called "Coming Home In A Body Bag". According to Quentin Tarantino, Donny is in fact Lee's father.
