From The Quentin Tarantino Archives
enjoying the wiki? --Sebastian 07:17, 20 February 2007 (CET)
Definitely one of my favorite sites on the net. I hope it becomes the mecca of Tarantino information, it might get the man himself to take a looksee.
dude, do you have some form of instant messenger? would be cool if we could chat while we're editing the same pages, haha --Sebastian 02:17, 21 April 2007 (CEST)
No sorry, I don't. But you can email me @ email@example.com. I usually check that a lot while I'm surfing.
I have Skype, and I use it often... I plan on helping out the Wiki here whenever I can, it really is an awesome idea (TurboMan)
Grindhouse references page
Maybe we could change the Grind house references page a little by adding specific pages like the Kill Bill one with use if stuff like a Sexploitation page, a Blaxploitation page, and so on.
been splitting it up a little, as you could see. it's not big enough yet. btw, we conflicted in editing it, i think that movie references "...fever (1975)" or something got lost in the process. that's why a messenger would be cool. what's your skype ID? --Sebastian 02:11, 26 April 2007 (CEST)
I don't have an instant messenger, but I will get one and let you guys know here.
my(TurboMan) skipe ID is xxpantherxx1
My Yahoo IM
I got a Yahoo IM. Name is savagedragon77.
Please don't cut & paste stuff from other websites here
It looks really tacky and stupid to just cut and paste stuff from other websites. At least reword it.
which page/text specifically are you referring to? --Sebastian 12:19, 5 July 2007 (CEST)
Badmutha, If youre going to make statements like that, at least have the courtesy to point out exactly what was copied and pasted. Dont just say it and leave. You just look like a troll otherwise.
cut & pastes
Well as I surfed and found some info from IMDB on the Jackie Brown trivia about "director's trademarks". It clearly was just cut & pasted. You can tell not only because it's word for word, but that's the way they format it.
I applaud badmutha for pointing it out, and I think the troll statement was unnecessary. whatever the copy&pasting it is very easy to find out who posted it ("history"), but that's not the point, the point is it shouldn't be done, unless it's a quote and there's a footnote or something. --Sebastian 09:10, 6 July 2007 (CEST)
Reword trivia? Does it really matter? Its TRIVIA i.e. little known facts about a film. Not someones opinions or thoughts on a film. If people look through this wiki and use our trivia on IMDB do we need to put (from the QTA wiki) at the end of each line? Gimme a break. Badmutha, if you feel that strongly about this, could you go through the wiki and find each line of IMDB originated trivia and put (from IMDB) at the end for us? I'm too busy contributing to other areas. Thanks for your support!
